We have listed below several valuable sources
of information to help educate you in obtaining car
insurance in Washington. Included are links to organizations with helpful
guides on topics such as purchasing auto insurance,
filing
claims and more.
Washington State Auto Insurance Laws
Washington auto insurance law requires a liability policy
with limits of at least 25/50/10, which means $25,000 for
injury to another person, $50,000 for injuries to all other
persons, and $10,000 for physical damage to another's property.
Drivers visiting from another state still have to comply
with Washington State's Mandatory Auto Insurance Law. Check
your insurance policy. Generally there is a broadening clause
which allows for the policy liability limits to rise to meet
the minimum required in the state of operation.
