|
Comprehensive
-- Optional
This auto insurance coverage pays for damage to your car if it
is stolen, vandalized, or damaged by fire, flood, fallen
trees, storms, etc.
Comprehensive auto insurance coverage is normally required by lenders.
|
Recommended
Increase your deductible to a comfortable level and you will reduce
your car insurance premiums. We don't recommend a deductible
higher than you can afford to pay.
|
Collision
-- Optional
This car insurance covers the cost of repairing damage to your
car caused by a collision with another
vehicle or object (tree, deer, etc.).
Collision insurance is often required by lenders.
Collision insurance an older car should be considered against the
actual value to replace the car.
|
Recommended
Increase your car insurance deductible to a higher amount to reduce
your insurance premiums. Again, we don't recommend a deductible
higher than you can comfortably afford in the event of a
claim. |
Towing
-- Optional
Reimburses you for the cost of having your car towed to a repair shop
after an accident or breakdown.
|
Recommended
Recommended to buy. However do not duplicate coverage if your dealer
or other 3rd party car club already provides this coverage
adequately.
|
Rental
-- Optional
Generally reimburses you up to $15 to $20 per day for the cost of
a rental car when your vehicle is in the shop for more than
24 hours for repairs due to an accident or covered claim.
|
Recommended
Ask your auto insurance agent about the amount of coverage.
Purchase an amount that will provide a rental car similar
in size and style to the vehicle you are currently driving.
